The edge on these stayed razor-sharp through a month of daily veg prep, and the way they sit on the stand makes my counter look like a proper kitchen. The high-carbon steel feels dense and balanced in the hand, not flimsy like my old set.
I’ve had these knives out on the counter for two weeks now and the stand makes them look almost like art. The high-carbon steel took a beating on butternut squash and still slices paper-thin tomatoes without any drag.
Cut through a whole bag of onions in maybe three minutes flat, and the blades still look brand new after sitting on the stand for two weeks. The Japanese steel takes a mean edge, and honestly, just leaving them out on the counter feels like a tiny kitchen upgrade.
