The thick felt really grips hot dishes without slipping, and I can grab a cast iron skillet straight from the oven without feeling any burn through. It’s nice knowing they’re sustainably made too, since I’m trying to cut down on plastic in the kitchen.
The stitching is so tight and neat that it looks more like a little piece of folk art than a kitchen tool, which is exactly why I hung it on the wall when I'm not using it. It grips hot pans firmly without any of that flimsy slipping I'm used to.
