The stripe pattern is subtle enough that it doesn't clash with the plates, and the fabric has a nice weight that stays put on your lap without sliding around. Washed them twice already and they came out wrinkle-free, which is more than I can say for my regular cotton ones.
These are the first cloth napkins I've bought in ages, and the grounded, earthy palette from the Quiet Season collection looks exactly like the photos. The double-sided stripe means I can flip them for a subtly different look at dinner, which feels like getting two sets in one.
The muted stripe pattern is even prettier in person, and these napkins actually hold up well after a few washes without losing that grounded, nature-inspired feel. I bought them for everyday dinners and they make the table look quietly elegant.
